Saw Dave Thursday night and saw Rush last night at the Tampa Ford Amphitheatre.

Rush was actually the better of the two shows -- the crowd supported every choice the band made, and they played for three solid hours. The most incredible moments were the cover of Cream's "Crossroads" and "Working Man." They closed with "limelight," and didn't do "Closer to the Heart" "Time Stand Still" or "Fly by Night," but they seriously tore the stage up -- even my lovely wife preferred their set to Dave's.

the venue is great -- not a bad seat on the grass and the acoustics weren't terrible. The video set up was fantastic too - Rush did more with cut scenes as well -- the whole show was framed by Jerry Stiller having a nightmare and waking up to tell the guys to take the stage.

Even though the guys are long in the tooth, they rocked it like teenagers, jumping around and moving quickly from song to song. If you can catch them on this tour, do it. It was fantastic.

Seven peeps. Congrats to Fran on graduating Fu. Goodbye forever to UCF Fu. Meeting great people at Gaither Fu. Goodbye to Roxanne Fu. Sore arms from moving classroom furniture Fu. Typing this whole sentence without looking at the keyboard at all Fu. Very tired now and goodnight Fu.

The new StarWars film has a name! I need to read the updates every day! It has had a name since the 24th! Why am I using exclamation marks?!!??

The name is "Revenge of the Sith." I think it is apropos, because that was the working title for Episode 6 before they decided that "good Jedi don't do revenge."

There is a really good interview on the Hyperspace site with Rick McCallum and Hayden Christiansen about the Vader mystique and wearing the armor and everything. The graphics on the EpIII site have a lot of Vaderesque imagery standing in a pool of lava, so whoever started that rumor back in '77 seems to have been correct.

Today is the first day of preplanning at my school. I will check in on my classroom computer as the day wears on.

Have a good day everybody!

Ross and Target are very cool stores -- I got 13 shirts, and fifteen pairs of socks for $145.96. I like tax holiday!

Joe is in the middle of To Kill a Mockingbird -- I have read it several times and it is fun talking about books with him.
