One week left, and then we are on Christmas break. One thing about Hillsborough County's exam schedule that I really really like is that I don't have to see my kids after I have given them a test, and we only have one day of short periods before testing begins in earnest.
We have a full day of school on Monday, and then Tuesday morning we have the first exam, followed by 30 minute periods. Then Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, we just give two exams and then split at noon. This means I am basically free as a bird on Wednesday, because I have neither a second nor a third period class. Of course, I then have back-to-back tests on Thursday and Friday, but these exams will be pretty easy to grade as far as that goes.
I have my last SAT temple class for the year tomorrow, and I need to prepare for that, but other than that I think I am caught up. Sort of.

Well, I fibbed a little -- there isn't really any more about the previous post, but I do have two important Star Wars announcements. There will be an Xbox video game called "Lego Star Wars" - http://www.xbox365.com/news/news.cgi/article/EEpkuFEEukZonBDzWq1142

This was a nice weekend. We celebrated Ms. Kathy's birthday by having her sister and brother-in-law fly in from Colorado unnanounced and surprise her during the week at dinner. Then we went to the swanky Donatello Italian restaurant downtown -- we even used the valet parking!
Gotta run -- I will add more to this later.
Everyone is thinking about Uncle Mike -- hope he is well.
