Well, we have reached the end of the second week of the second semester, and I am still sane.

Classes are going well -- we practiced decoding strategies, learned about morphemes, went over their practice test, went to the computer lab to do an acrostic of their names in PowerPoint, and today we go to the library so that they can choose books.

I spent some time checking the shelves so I could have some ideas to recommend to people, and I am really impressed with the collection -- it is very diverse and extensive.

Today is an abbreviated schedule because of the pep rally, so this should go swimmingly.

Obi has just crawled dejectedly into his crate, so I guess it si about time to go.

Six peeps. If only we had NEW computers in the computer lab Fu.

Had much fun with the new kiddos this fine Monday.

Enjoyed SAT yesterday as well, and enjoyed watching Moss make a fool of himself and Green Bay do the same.

After the game, we started watching 24 -- I am hoping that I can actually follow the whole season this time instead of little bits and pieces.

I need to get back to things and make sure that I have my plans for this week laid out, so i will log off now.

Wow -- I just typed this whole post without looking at the keyboard!! I am unlearning! I feel like an educated farmboy on a swamp planet with a muppet strapped to my back! I even typed this sentence while watching the television!

Seven peeps. It was a really great day -- nice to work wiht kids who actually want to be there.
