Star Wars: Episode III | Episode III: How It Begins
This is a link to all SIX opening crawls for the Star Wars movies -- it is kind of neat to see them all next to each other -- and the file is an image, so as long as you don't post it anywhere, you can take it with you :)
I played Jeopardy with my students on Friday -- here is the PowerPoint I used.
There are several places to look for templates on the web -- but this is by far the best (and most flaunting of copyright restrictions):

I am going to finish watching SpongeBob with my daughter and make some breakfast now.
Gasparilla is today, and I am toying with the idea of braving the crowds and wading through the inebriated, loutish revelers and plastered bankers and lawyers in overpriced pirate outfits with clinging trophy wives and "secretaries" teetering on faux-nautical floats to go get some 13 cent plastic beads in commemoration of a vicious criminal responsible for the deaths of hundreds of honest sailors and the corrupting the virtues of many young innocent maidens. maybe.
Of maybe we will stay home and watch Episode V: TESB. Hehehe.
Six peeps. Yummy Checkers fries Fu. Pouting pooch perched precariously 'pon piles of pants and pillowcases Fu.

Currently I am watching Alias, for the first time in about two years. We really enjoyed the first season, but for some reason we didn't watch last year.
It isn't too hard to get back in, but I am quote curious as to why Sloan is wroking with them now.
I took my online Principal's Inventory tonight (http://www.altcert.org/principal/uses.asp) It is called the Haberman assessment, and is supposed to tell whether or not I will be a good administrator based on 104 yes or no questions. I scored a 69, whatever that means.
Well, I am off to bed. Tomorrow we are back in the computer lab, and hopefully things will go more smoothly.
Six peeps. Inching closer and closer to the dark side Fu.

Well, I guess the resolution to post more often has bitten the proverbial dust.
Last week was busy -- Thursday was my screening interview to begin the process to become an administrator -- 11.5 grueling minutes of me introducing myself and a panel of teachers and administrators asking me questions.
At least the room did not erupt in gales of guffaws and chortles after I left, as it did when the woman who was interviewed before me left.
I should be able to find out if I scored high enough on their rubric tomorrow to proceed with the process.
The weekend was very laid back -- we went out to eat on Friday and Saturday for Fran's B-day -- I got the Mile High Meatloaf Sandwich from Cheesecake Factory Friday and the Broiled Platter from Red Lobster on Saturday (my lovely wife had never had a fried clam before, so she shared some of her sister's. I indulged in at least four Cheddar Bay biscuits -- I love those things-- and the fried clams and scallops reminded me of the Calabash Cove restaurant where we used to eat in Charlotte -- The Hungry Fisherman, too, but mostly the Calabash Cove harbors sweet memories of tender hush puppies and mouthwatering tender scallops and flounder fillets. Yummy.)
Did not watch a single flick this weekend -- time was spent cleaning and sleeping and shopping -- so no news to report from the land of celluloid.
I am hooked on 24, and I will definitely watch it on the morrow, no matter how much I have to do for school.
There is a cool site you should know about: http://www2.blinkx.com/overview.php. This is a new integrated search tool that combines a desktop search with a web search. It can search video files across the web and all kinds of other things, too. It got a nice write-up in PC Magazine this past month -- you might wanna check it out.
Well, I'm off to the freezer for some MooseTracks. Talk later.
Six peeps. Looking forward to sleeping tonight and ice cream but not in that order Fu.
