Kevin Smith: My Boring-Ass Life » The Day Kevin Saw “Sith” Really Early
Yes, Silent Bob has already seen Revenge of the Sith, and his expletive-ridden review is a wonderful read for fans.
There are spoilers, so Andy probably won't want to read it yet. :)

George Lucas spoke at Celebration II, the Star Wars convention in Indiana, and had this to say to the legions of fans both in Indianapolis and in Cyberspace:
A fan asked what Lucas thought of the passionate fans who have devoted so much of their lives to the Star Wars experience. "I'm very grateful to you all," he said. "I've been very surprised. Star Wars is something to enjoy and take away what you can from it that maybe helps you in your lives. Don't let it take over your lives. That's what they all say about Trekkies, and I know Star Wars fans don't do that. The point of the movies is to get on with your lives, to take that challenge, to leave your uncle's moisture farm, to go out in the world and change it to save the universe."
I think this is one of the main reasons I love the saga as much as I do. Apart from the characters, visuals and lines permanently burnt into my psyche, the countless hours spent imagining myself in the roles of 3 and 1/4 inch heroes and villains, there is more to the story than just another thing for Calvin to obsess over. (M&M's, Peeps, Tori, etc.)
What really sets the Star Wars saga apart is the spirit of "the maker" that infuses the story; a spirit that demands actualization both of the characters and the audience. The story of the films and the story of Lucas' life compel the true fans to achieve greatness, and refuse to shrink from duty, risk and progress.
Well, I am off to the manse to do battle with part Six of the first level of the Lego Star Wars game (we finished the game -- I am now collecting currency and toy pieces to build ships with) and maybe grade a little, too.
May the Force Be With You.

Happy Secretaries Week!
Movies I am looking forward to, in order of release:
Hithchiker's Guide (Friday) Revenge of the Sith (May 19) Batman Begins Fantastic Four (End of June) War of the Worlds (July 4) King Kong (December)
I am also looking forward to this evening -- I am watching "Underworld" and some unnamed flick from Blockbuster which I will retrieve with a movie coupon -- probably "Once Upon A Time in Mexico"
Happy Monday
8:12 pm
I did get Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Didn't watch it, though. I watched "Underworld" instead. Or should I say, "Moody dark shots of Kate Beckinsale wishing she was Carrie Anne Moss World" Kate definitely had better hair (tousled beats slicked back any old kind of day), but "Blade" had a better (similar) plot (and it stunk), and the rest of the characters (aside from Kate's "Seline") were a wash. The story was a little muddled (too much vamp intrigue) and it was so DARK! You could hardly see anything -- it was worse than "Van Helsing" in that respect. You are much better off renting a season of Angel.
I played the Skittles "Hunt for Grievous" game (just won two lousy screensavers -- I wanted the iPod, dangit) this afternoon, as well as purchasing a box of Crispix cereal to get the Artoo snack bowl. I am going to wait one more week to see if the new Corn Pops come in with the saberspoons. If not, I will go to Target and get some Frosted Flakes to get one (Yoda is on the front of the box looking green and belligerent).
Oh well -- I am going to play the video game before 24 comes on.
